From North
Southbound on the Lodge US-10, exit Larned St. (on left); right on Washington Blvd.
Southbound on I-75 take I-375 to Jefferson Ave. west to Washington Blvd.

From South
Northbound on I-75, exit Lodge US-10 to Larned St. (on left); right on Washington Blvd.

From East
Westbound on I-94 to I-75 south; take I-375 to Jefferson Ave. west to Washington Blvd.

From West
Eastbound on I-96 or I-94, take the Lodge US-10 south; exit Larned St. (on left); right on Washington Blvd.

Cobo Rooftop Deck
Digital Summit guests should park near the large “ELEVATOR #3” sign, this will bring you closest to the Digital Summit Event.

The roof is attended from 6:00am – 10:00pm
There are 600 spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis.
The parking fee is $10

The Washington Blvd Garage
Located in the front of Cobo Center has roughly 400 spaces available Monday-Friday. The parking fee is $10.

Millennium Garage
Located on Congress Street, between the DoubleTree and the Cobo Center. Monday-Friday, $10 parking fee.

Ford Underground Parking
Located on 30 E Jefferson Ave. Monday-Friday, $15 parking fee.

Street Parking

Detroit People Mover
A Detroit People Mover station is located inside COBO Center on the third floor near Congress St. Click for more details about the Detroit People Mover and the Detroit People Mover stations.

Pick-up/Drop-off
Visitor pick-up/drop-off is situated off of Atwater Street near the Cobo Center riverfront entrances.

Uber
Uber provides rideshare services for Cobo Center and will have a dedicated Pickup Zone that may vary by event. Users can try the service with a free first ride up to $20. Click the link to download the app, then sign up with promo code COBO17 to redeem.

Taxi
Taxicabs are readily available at the front of Cobo Center or you can call any of the companies listed here.

Airport Shuttle Service
Skoot scheduled shuttle service to/from Metro Airport provides hourly service from downtown Detroit hotels. $20 per person from hotel to airport, and $23 per person from airport to hotel between 4:00 AM to 10:00 PM makes the service easy and affordable. Visit the Skoot Website

The M-1 Rail
Coming in 2017, the Detroit M-1 Rail will connect the downtown area withthe creative culture and boutique commerce of Midtown, enriching the ‪Cobo Center visitor experience like never before. museums, universities, tech campus, research institutes, automotive centers, sports, music, cross cultural dining and more that is distinctly Detroit.

For attendees that will require hotel accommodations, we have secured a block of rooms at The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit at the discounted rate of $179+. The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit is conveniently located in Downtown Detroit less than a 1Ž2 mile from the Cobo Center. The hotel features an on-premise restaurant, and complimentary high speed internet.

  • Opening Reception: Tuesday, September 12th from 5:15pm – 6:30pm
  • Morning Coffee Social: Wednesday, September 13th from 7:30am – 8:30am
  • Networking Break: Wednesday, September 13th from 10:30am – 11:00am
  • Closing Reception: Wednesday, September 13th from 5:20pm – 6:30pm

  • Snacks will be provided at the opening beer & wine reception on Tuesday.
  • Light Breakfast will be available from 7:30am – 8:30am on Wednesday morning.
  • Box Lunch is provided during the Wednesday keynote for all attendees (Pre-Conference attendees will also receive a box lunch on Tuesday).
  • Coffee & tea service will be available during various breaks throughout the conference.
  • Closing Reception will take place immediately following the final sessions on Wednesday.

Folks that require special assistance (nursing moms, accessibility, allergies, etc.) can email autumn@techmediaco.com to provide advance notice.

You’ll find a range of attire at the conference but generally most attendees are in business casual. Temperatures in venues fluctuate, so we advise to be prepared with layers.

Attendees will receive an email within one week of event closing with a post-event survey and access information to view presentations via a secure portal from the Digital Summit website. Please note that presentations will not be available to download, but will be available for viewing for 6 weeks after the event.

It’s of utmost importance to us that the conference be informative, valuable and fun for all. If there is anything we can do to make for a better experience, please let us know by filling out our post-event survey immediately following the conference. We read EVERY one, and use them to shape our future conferences.
